2000 Jeep Wrangler

Down on the brake pedal up under the dash there should be a brake light switch. When the brake is depressed the switch turns the brake lights on. Sometimes this switch gets moved or just quits and the lights stay on. That is where I would check first. You can manualy trip it and have someone watch the lights and see if it is functioning properly. Hope this helps Curt
