1998 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

My wrangler has developed a very stiff jolting ride. I put new shocks on it and it still is a teeth jarring ride. What else could cause this problem?

Jeeps ride rough, but if you have noticed a change, then we need to figure it out. Has the height of the vehicle changed at all on one side or the other? Have you checked to make sure the leaf springs are still in good condition? Other than the shocks and leaf springs, nothing will effect the ride.
