1990 Jeep Wrangler fuel delivery?

Jerks and cuts out when driving, just as if you were running out of fuel. Intermittant, but becoming worse and more frequent. Have changed fuel filter twice. Now there is a 'humming' noise coming from the rear of the car when it is in neutral and idling.

The humming is probably the fuel pump. It is in the tank.

Check your fuel pressure.

Is check engine light on? If so have codes pulled, your local auto zone will do it free.
