1961 Jeep CJ5 I don't know how is the pattern to select 4X4

have no idea how to set gears the cj5 it's realy a 1958 and have two shifter plus the 3 speed I believe one is for a 4x4 the litlle one for h&low? But the jeep runs like heavy forced to go maibe in 4x4 low? Need the exact position on shifters please

WAY (1)

"IN" and "HIGH" is both sticks to the rear

"IN-OUT" stick is closest to you

"H/N/L" stick is furtherest

WAY (2)

"H/N/L" is blocked from shifting into low, unless other stick is in the "IN" posisition (in other words, the stick furtherest has 2 positiions [H/N] OUT of 4X4, and 3 positions [H/N/L] when IN 4X4)

WAY (3)

Look at "DATA PLATE" on dash!
