I bought this 2001 jeep grand cherokee limited 3yrs ago and just recently been having very odd problems.
The rear cd player, which I have never used started to continously run, so I pulled out the cd holder and it stopped. The head/break lights flash on and off in the middle of the night. The oil pressure gauge goes to zero when I stop, and the "check gauges" light comes on, but when I start to drive again, pressure goes back to normal and light comes off and the engine still idles fine, dosnt stall out or anything. And the weirdest thing is the break lights only work if my running lights are off. But if I take them out and put them back in then they will work for a day. The motor in my driver side seat stopped working, then is working again. The keyless entry only works some times, I have to press the button several times to get it to work, the battery is ok. I also just changed the main battery. I dont know anything about cars, and am female, I just need a little help to steer me in the right direction, and not get ripped off. It seems like something electrical. Please help.

Sounds like the GEM module or as chrysler calls it body control module. This controls all the lighting and such the power module controls the engine electrical. I would have it checked or if you feel comfortable enough to do this and have a digital volt meter I will get you a wiring diagram and help through it. Let me know.
