2000 Jeep Cherokee contanstly reading low voltage on volt m

Replaced engine recently. The jeep is running fine except it will not keep the volt meter above nine. Battery replaced, not the problem. Alternator is replaced not the problem. Not sure how to begin other trouble shooting.

If both battery and alternator checks out the last place to look at is the field generation of the alternator being controlled by the computer Seee below
