i have rod knocking is there a chance i could drop the oil pan and change the bearings and get buy that way

if it is infact rod bearing issues you can drop the oil pan and do it in the vehicle. but remember its cramped and you wont get as good results. i suggest pulling the motor, isnt that hard of a job.
