1997 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1997 jeep cherokee.I have noticed one of my cables are loosened to the battery.I keep getting boosts it works fine. When I start the car again it will not start the battery is dead. Do I need a new battery?

Clean both + and - posts of your battery with a wire brush tool and then replace both terminals (these are the ends of your cables that conect to the battery) and ahe your battery tested 4 free @ most local auto parts stores
