1996 Jeep Cherokee oil pressure

The pressure guage reads approx 40 while driving then when the vehicle is warmed up and the gas pedal is disengaged the pressure drops down to 20 amd continues to fluxuate.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its within specs-replace the oil pressure switch if abnormal could be the oil pump or engine bearings. You can try engine flush and see what happens
