1996 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

man someone help please I changed the throttle position sensor and it doesnt shift out of first I ran out of ideas how to fix this problem

I was having the same problem. After looking at the throttle sensor area I tried this and it worked. There are 3 wires connected to the throttle housing.I disconnected all 3 for about 10-15 seconds. After reconnecting, the problem was solved. This is not to say it will fix your problem but it never hurts to start with the easy stuff.

Well I got the problem resolved by a transmission shop it was two wires on my speed sensor output that were touching. It wasnt too bad of a cost $83
