Engine Performance problem
1995 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Is there a specific position in which to re-install the drive plate on a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. I removed the engine at 270k and had it rebuilt. I marked the position of the plate on the plate and the engine block, however when it was returned to me the mark on the engine was gone. I did not send the drive plate out with the engine.

Are you refering to the flywheel? If so, I believe there is only one way it will mount. Many came with an offset bolt hole. If that isn't the case, it doesn't matter. You should be fine in any position.
