1993 Jeep Cherokee charging systom

I have a new batt, a new alternator with a reg. Inside the alternaton. I replaced the wire that connects to the back of the alternator. But not charging the batt. What can it be?

Ive had numerous electrical problems with my jeep over the years it has 254000 miles on it and I drive it 140 miles a day to work and back I always find when im having an electrical problem it usually comes from the connection to the battery this jeep is very pecular about that and ive had an issue last week where I actualy replaced the alternator only to find out it was the battery terminal ends causing my grief
