1.I have to replace my ignition key lock cyl. I have the steering wheel off, lower tim panel off. I am having trouble getting the steering column shrouds off. Where are the retaining screws?
2. Do I need to disconnect the ignition switch rod?
3. Is this model have the thru bolt style key cyl. Or is it retained by a clip; if so, is there a special tool?
4. Also, the key does not turn the ignition anymore. Will this be a problem in the installation or removal of the ignition lock cyl?

In my 95 trns am, all I needed to do was remove the steering whell and everything inside untill I got to the ignition switch. Then is was just one bolt and everything came out (we will not get into the anit thft part and the chip in the key though). Do not know about your model though.
