1989 Jeep Cherokee

While idling and/or driving, the engine seems to "hiccup" or feel like a miss. I believe it to be in the fuel filter or spark plugs, they were both replaced last year about this time.

Hello, any codes? Have you done any basic testing? Plug wires--cap-- rotor ok? Fuel pressure good? You might try a cylinder balance test, see if you can find a weak or dead cylinder.

My jeep did the same thing and I changed the spark plugs after a year of having used them and it fixed my idle problems that sounded like a misfire.
