1987 Jeep Cherokee noise in engine

I hear a rattling sound in the engine and the engine light is on. The oil pressure gauge goes down some too. Can not figure out what it is.

Since engine light is on have codes pulled.

Have you checked your oil? If oil is full have oil pressure checked.
