2004 Jaguar XJ8 head lamp

2004 Jaguar XJ8 V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I cannot access the bulb to change the right regular beam. I have removed the plastic cowling and released the cover on the back of the lamp, but can't get to the bulb to remove it.

Undo the bolts securing the headlight in place, pull light out and replace the bulb

I can access the bulb and feel it, but I can't remove it.
Does the housing twist or need to be compressed. There are no screws or bolts to release the. Cover.
