How do you replace/install the sunroof on a 99 xj8 jaguar?

Removal (XJ8 & XJR)
Adjust front passenger seat fully rearward and recline seat. Remove battery cover and disconnect ground cable from battery terminal. Remove sliding (sun) roof flange finisher. See SUN ROOF FLANGE FINISHER.
Remove sliding (sun) roof trim panel. See SUN ROOF TRIM PANEL. Remove grab handles. Remove sun roof console. Remove sun visors. Remove cantrail/upper "A" post trim. Remove rear quarter trim. Remove front half of headliner.
Disconnect wiring harness from sliding (sun) roof control module. See Fig. 11. Disconnect drain hoses from stub pipes at each corner of sliding roof frame. Remove rear sun roof frame support brackets.
Leaving center bolt on each side, remove bolts and plastic washers securing sliding roof frame to body. With an assistant, support sun roof assembly and remove remaining bolts and washers from each side of frame. Lower sun roof assembly and carefully remove it through front passenger door.

Installation (XJ8 & XJR)
With an assistant, carefully pass sun roof assembly through front passenger door and position on roof. Install and loosely tighten sun roof frame center bolts and plastic washers. Install and loosely tighten remaining bolts and plastic washers.
Inserting a 0.59" (15.0 mm) drill bit, align circular openings in sun roof frame and body on each side. Fully tighten sun roof frame bolts. Install sun roof rear support brackets and loosely tighten bolts. Align rear support brackets and fully tighten bolts. Connect drain hoses to stub pipes. Install headliner, rear quarter trim, and cantrail/upper "A" post trim.
Install sun visors. Install roof console and grab handles. Install sun roof trim panel and sun roof flange finisher. Connect ground cable to battery terminal and fit battery cover. Return front passenger seat to original position.
