1995 Jaguar XJ6 Jumping Battery

The battery is dead and locatrd in the trunk, which opens electronically so I cannot get to it. How do I jump it from under the hood or from the engine?

On the top left side of firewall you see a positive pole
and use any part of body metal as negative.
