1990 Isuzu Truck Timeing help

HI we have this truck it jumped time and we need to know what cylinder to time it off of along with were the marks should be lined up please help! its the only way i have to get back and forth from work thanks for any help in advanced Notes* the engine is a 2.3l, we tried it once already i cant remember how we timed it but it ran but the top speed in 3rd was 15 miles per hour so i assume it was wrong lol.

I just recently replaced my entire motor and the timing marks by the book were both at the top on the crank and cam, but the rotor was pointing to the the #4 plug in the distributer cap (look inside the cap and you will see these numbers)this turned out to be the #1 at top dead center with these timing marks, and the truck ran perfect, it was also in the same place when we removed the dist from the old motor.
