1998 Isuzu Trooper Check Engine Light on

The "check engine light" turned on on my 98 trooper. After getting home, I checked and topped all fluids. The "engine light" turned OFF. I took the vehicle for a ride (~1 hr) and the light turned back on. The vehicle is NOT riding or idling rough. What could this be? Could it be a bad sensor or blow fuse?

1st check gas cap and make sure its on and tight
and if that didn’t work you need to have it scanned for codes
your local part store or repair shop can help you getting the code s
