Runs rough. Coolant coming out of tailpipe. "Bummer" Do I need a new head gasket or maiifold gasket? Can I do the job myself? How can I save some money?

CHances are the headgasket or the intake manifold is bad. they are both an undertaking to do, and the best way to save money is to do it yourself, but if your not mechanical i wouldnt attemp it.

I got a quote of $700 to fix it, if it is a blown head gasket. I this reasonable? Remove head, check for cracks clean and grind valves.
