My intake manifold cover is broken, and the part is out of stock. While I am waiting for it to come in is it ok to drive the car without this on?

Hi,
April, are you referring to the intake manifold insulator? That is a plastic cover at the top of the engine.
See pic below. That is the only pic I could find, and it only shows the back portion.
Let me know.
Joe

Hi,
If it is just the insulator cover, it won't hurt anything if you drive it. The cover is to help eliminate engine noise and to allow the engine to reach operating temperature faster. Driving without it won't hurt anything.
Take care and feel free to come back anytime in the future. Also, let me know if you have other related questions.
