Installing harmonic balancer

They say there is a special tool never used a special tool ever for this. Can I heat the balancer in the oven you know that would expand the metal and slip it on maybe a little pound use the bolt then when it cooled it would make a very tight fit would that work and not damage it ?

if you heat it the rubber inside would break so do not do that. picture shows special tool if you have a socket large enough and a long screw with a nut and heavy washer will do same.
