Installing harmonic balancer

They say there is a special tool never used a special tool ever for this. Can I heat the balancer in the oven you know that would expand the metal and slip it on maybe a little pound use the bolt then when it cooled it would make a very tight fit would that work and not damage it?

If you heat it the rubber inside would break so do not do that. Picture shows special tool if you have a socket large enough and a long screw with a nut and heavy washer will do same.
