2004 Infiniti G35

I just bought this car yesterday. There is a clangking sound coming from the front of the car. Sounds as if a belt has snapped and is still rotating. Do you have any idea what this could be? Is the car okay to drive?

Hi there,

If this noise is there with the engine running (not driving) inspect all belts and pulleys, it will be something thats rotating, so watch as the engine is idling as well to see if something is running out of alignment(with a marked wobble) if unsure you will have to get a mechanic to inspect as it could be one of many things wound and I will have to be viewed to make a diagnosis.
