From what I have gathered after months of trial and error is the car has disabled the fuel injectors due to the immobilizer being set. Also, when I shift down to the automatic manual, it shows that it is stuck in 3rd gear. (Limp mode?)Yet, when I shift through the gears, on the diagnostic scanner, it shows that it registers me going from P to R, N etc. When I run the diagnostic tool I see that one reading states that there is no Learn Coded Key. My air/fuel ratio is 29.3:1 as well. It cranks over, but sounds as if the battery is weak. I have programmed several keys. There is no theft light on and I also replaced the ECU with one that was programmed to my VIN thinking that would solve the problem. I remain wrong still. I am just stumped at this point. Months beyond stumped.

Hi,

Have you tried scanning the CAN bus system? It sounds like there is a break down of communication between modules. CAN stands for computer area network. Here is a link that explains how it is done and why it is needed with these vehicles:

Let me know if you have already done this.
