I had someone try steal my car a few years back and immobilizer kept me from starting again. Now i need to sell it and get it started. Non professionals have tried to get it going taking computer out but no luck. I was told i need a new barrel n key? I need the cheapest solution as i am a single mother and would to avoid getting ripped off. Please help me!

try resetting immobilizer look online for your car and make sure battery is charged. if it will nott start a local mechanic will have to see what is wrong with system. Above all do not change any parts until it is scanned if not starting.

There is no bypass and there is no reset for this vehicle. As HMAC300 advised, it has to be diagnosed with a professional scan tool and repaired. It will also require dealer programming after any parts are changed.
