How to change ignition housing?

Ignition housing replacement.

Hi,

For some reason, my manuals doesn't include that. However, if the vehicle doesn't have a tilt wheel, you will need to remove the upper and lower column covers first. There will then be four bolts that hold the steering column in place. Loosen them to lower the column as needed.

Once that is lowered, there are two bolts that are used to clamp the assembly to the column. See pic below.

Please understand, I'm saying this from memory. I have no idea why the manual is so vague. If you do have a tilt steering wheel, let me know.
