My key won't turn over but lights and all are on and I can't get my key out of the ignition

So the key is stuck to the 2nd position? If it is try rocking the wheel back and forth vigorously while trying to rock the key back and forth. This should give you enough space for the ignition to wiggle its way back to the 1st position and you can remove the key.

This either means the ignition mechanism has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced or the wheel lock for the ignition is locking when it shouldn't be.
