I noticed one day while park had the defrost on the vehicle started idling down to almost to where it shut off, the battery light came on and everything then it revved itself back up. It also did this in the A/C mode and none of the other selections. After googling it had mentioned about the IACV, so I replaced it. It fixed that problem, however when I start off pushing the gas, I let off the gas and it sticks to like I have a cruise control on. Very dangerous considering when I pulled in the driveway about rear-ended one of my other vehicles and I can sit down and hold the brake and it will still rev then let go. It's almost like I'm trying to power brake. Also, when I get in the car to start it, it will rip higher for just a split second and then go back down to normal idle. Any suggestions? My name is Brandon. Thank you in advance.

Hi Brandon,

It sounds like you got a defective IAC motor, I would swap it out for another unit. Here are the instructions on how to correctly change the part out in images below.
