I think my baby is sick

Car started to putter out when first starting in the morning second start and revs up for a few minutes. Now when driving I guess I will call it a bucking when the rpms get around 2 it sort of drops down a little I feel it in the pedal. Any ideas or need more info.

I would like you to have it scanned for codes in the computer and let me know the exact code numbers not code descriptions? If you dont live in California the auto parts store will scan it for free. If we codes in the computer it will help give us clues into what direction we need to go for diagnosis.

My check engine light has been on for 9 years my mechanic gets it to pass. I know there is 3 nor 4 codes each time?

Wel we need to know what the exact code numbers not code descriptions you have right now in the computer? Thats are starting point it might even take a scan tool to diagnose the problem lets start with the codes.
