How to replace the timing chain?

I would like a picture of the front of the motor with the chain markings along with where they align with the sprockets and shaft.

I took the old timing chain off and put the new one on in the same position. Now I want to turn the motor counterclockwise until all links lineup where there supposed to go. I turned motor so large chain made 8 complete revolutions. Do I keep turning? Before I decided to do this but would stall at a light and do a lot of chugging. I want to make sure it didn't skip a tooth but so far, I haven't got close.

You will need to turn the engine more times until the marks work their way around. Once the marks are lined up during installation is the best way to make sure you are all good.
