I've always had problems with wiper blades not cleaning the windshield very well. Replacing the wipers don't help. The problem is worst on the highway, leaving a spot in the middle of the driver side that's not cleared.

I have the same problem with my driver's-side wiper. I have replaced blades every 2-3 months. I noticed that it is only the driver-side. I did some troubleshooting and and came to the conclusion that the spring tensioner on the wiper arm had less tension than the passenger-side window. I bought a new wiper arm at the Hyundai Dealer for about $45. Plus, I now us Rain-X on my windows for clearer vision when it rains. This fix may work for you!
