I replaced my alternator last week, since then the battery light has come on intermittantly. It is a Quality Refurbished one bought locally at t place that has excellent has reviews, and yes it is warranted.

After I installed the Alt, it was squeaking a little bit so I tightened the adjust bolts accordingly. After there was no squeak, everything seemed to be fine, but about 10 minutes into driving the battery light came on! Then I was driving and the headlights blew? Also the air bag light flashed a little bit as well as the hazards. Both VERY random. The fog lights still work as well as the interior cluster panel lights, but no headlights.

Is it possible the alternator is in fact faulty and blew the headlights? Or bad ground? Or some sort of relay?

Hello thirdpartyrecruitment

2.4L Sonata: Pivot bolt to 26-41 ft. Lbs. (34-54 Nm) and the adjustment bolt to 14-18 ft. Lbs. (19-25 Nm).
I just want to make sure the adjustements are correct.
Check those and get back to me.
