Im having trouble that seems like my alternator but that checks out ok, I see on this forum, the amps can be ok but if the voltage is low it will still drain battery, could you tell me how to check the voltage, we have a voltage meter but not sure how to hook it up to where and what it should read.

I went to that link and that is where I found the amperage could be good and the voltage might be bad, Thank You, does this mean I should hook my voltage meter to my battery terminals and then the reading should be 13.6 to 14.3 is that ac or dc? Thanks
Ellen
