2002 Hyundai Santa Fe 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 150K miles

Have taken my Santa Fe in for oil change. Right after the oil change, experienced leaks (green fluid)and white to grey exhaust when I drive and also when turn on the AC. Took vehicle to dealership with complaint, they cleaned the oil pan and stated the plug was not seated properly. Less than 1 week later, still experiencing leak and smoke. Took it back to dealership and asked that they look at the AC system. They did an AC system check, flushed fluids, and injected a dye to detect leak as they saw nothing. Am still experiencing smoke, slight leak, took it to other than dealership, they replaced the ac compressor, still experiencing leak of freon and now a noticible hiss from within the vehicle. What else could it be?

Hi anjelj,

Green fluid is most probably coolant and if there is a leakage, you need to have the cooling system checked. If there is overheating, the AC would not work well.

If freon is losing out and the hissing is from inside vehicle, check the evaporator for leakages.

Thank you for the response. I did have the cooling system checked/flushed at the dealership, I expected if they found something they would let me know, but I will return with the recommendation to check the evaporator.

Thak you again. I will write back and let you know how things turn out.
