2005 Other Hyundai Models Hammering noise

Whenever I apply brakes, I hear Hammering noise even at slow speeds, My Mechanic told me its because of the rain. I got them cleaned at 28000 mileage, again the hammering noise re-appeared after 500 Km. Please advise

Where is this hammering noise -is it in the engine or outside?

Its in the Brakes nothing to do with engine, I got the brake shoe cleaned at 28000, it reappeared after 500 km

Better break it open and investigate could be something loose or broken
