Decided to help my niece out this weekend and did part of 60,000 mile recommended service on her 02 Santa Fe w/2.7. Replaced plugs (originals were NGKs) with Autolite "single" Platinums. Back three were a challenge but I prevailed (cut knuckles to prove it). Car runs great. But dealer tells me he hates Autolites and that I erred by using them. I've used Autolites in many apps without problem though, admittedly, I've mostly owned Fords. Should I take the dealer seriously?

I wouldnt worry so much as the dealers advice sounds like there speaking on part of personal opinion, yes I have seen problems b4 with aftermarket spark plugs in these vehicles but the problems were from improper heat range plugs and non platinum plugs when the vehicle calls for platinum, I wouldnt worry about it, give them a try
