I am replacing outer boot But I believe I have to remove whole axle and replace inner boot also. No one seems to have repair manual. I am trying to teach my sons how to work on cars but LOL I drive chevy's. Do I have to remove a clip near transmission of shaft? I was at another web site they said I only need to remove ball bearings. NO WAY then a friend told me about this web site said better then chilton manual. Thanks Mike

Normally you just have to insert a pry bar between the inner shaft and the transmission casing and lever it, then pull the whole driveshaft provided you have already taken it out of the hub/suspension.
Be careful some oil may come out of the transmission. Let us know how you get on. Cheers.
