My timing belt broke while I was driving, what is the process to find tdc and line up the cyl heads, the manual I have only covers replacing the old one.

1994 hyundai sonata v6
tdc/camshaft alignment

It seems like all the repair manuals on this subject, deals with replacing the timing belt, and thats fine, but:

They dont say anyting when the timing belt breaks while driving, and what the process is to finding tdc and aligning the camshaft gears.
can you help with this?

thank you

I am assuming you have removed the heads and are know trying to replace them. You need to have the number 1 cylinder @ top dead center on the compression stroke.
Good luck and let us know how it goes. :)
