2001 Hyundai Accent falling out of 5th gear

What do I need to do or have looked at if my 5th gear disengages while driving.

It sounds like there is an internal problem with a syncronizer. Also, before having that taken apart, have you checked to make sure the linkage is not loose and it isn't entirely in 5th gear and just pops out?
