I have the vehicle listed above that has been through some water damage. The car is completely dead. We cannot open the trunk by using a jump box and cannot access the emergency release. Is there any other way to open it? There is no key hole. Either.

Yep, this can be a problem, if the battery is shorted out you can't get the system to 12 volts to open the trunk you may need to remove the rear seat and try to access the trunk pull. Also, I assume you are using the 12-volt lug under the hood to boost the battery, correct?

Do you not realize that a Z4 doesn't have a rear seat?

Sorry, yep, brain fade on that one. I am not sure how to get the trunk open. I would call the BMW service desk at the dealer and explain the problem to see what they have to say. There is no manual release for the latch unless you are trapped inside, which is required by law. I don't even see that either in our information.
