1998 Honda Passport Front End Shaking :(

Hello, I just purchased the 98 Passport from my gf's family. I've found that the front end shakes horrible but kind of slows as you speed up. Also it pulls to the left quite a bit. My check engine light is on as well as my ABS. I know nothing about cars but I was wondering if this all ties together?

Hi there,
The problems your facing are three separate issues. For the pulling and shaking, Have the cars' alignment redone. Although, it may be time to change the tie rods, center link, idler arm and steering damper. As far as the "check engine" and ABS light, the car has to be diagnosed to retrieve the trouble codes. I heard Autozone and other reputable auto parts stores do this service for free. Keep in touch and give me the codes, I will try to decipher them. Larry
