Cruise Control

I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey with about 82,000 miles, 6 cylinder. Lately I have been having problems with the cruise control not engaging. Sometimes it will enagage and other it will not engage. Can not pinpoint when it does and when it doesn't. Any ideas?
