2004 Honda Odyssey Not working

Honda dealer says ac compressor is gone after running off the side of road. It stopped cooling and makes a roaring noise while ac is on.

Hi SipSip,

Did the dealer physically inspected and assessed the damage?

If it is still running, then it could probably be the compressor clutch bearing that is bad or the clutch is damaged. That does not require the complete compressor to be replaced.
