While pulling a light trailer, my 2001 Odyssey (156K miles) started running a little rough, check engine light started flashing. Engine codes are P0300 through P0306 (cylinder misfires). I replaced all 6 spark plugs and 5 seemed normal, but 1 was oil fouled and had debris around center electrode and side electrode was about half gone. Before the new plugs, idle RPM would start around 1K and then surge to around 2K and then repeat the surging. After new plugs, same idle surging and still runs a little rough. I haven't had a chance to re-check the codes yet. Any ideas? What causes the surging? Thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions!
