Initially, my car began to lack power/acceleration. I suspected fuel problems, and changed out the fuel filter, pump and the tank (which was rusted out). Following repair the fuel pressure was restored (about 30 PSI) but the engine is running bad, seems like its continuously missing. The engine passed a compression test recently, before I replaced the tank. CPU only indicates oxygen sensor and EGR trouble. Any suggestions as to possible problem?

The oxygen sensor and Egr circuit can create poor running conditions so begin diagnosis on the 02 sensor and egr. Too much egr flow can stall out the engine and the 02 sensor is strictly for fueling adjustment. If the 02 sensor is worn it can create a lean or rich condition which can cause issues aswell.

Start by diagnosing the 02 sensor and egr.
