My Crx has an idling problem. When I start my car(being a cold engine when started) the engine seems to run just fine, but once it is warmed up it revs up and down at a steady pace. Why is this?

Engine temp. Sensor is faulty. Detects cold engine instead of warm.

Which temp. Sensor? I'm having trouble trying to locate it. There are a few sensors.

1)--(TW)---coolant sensor
2)--(IAT)---intake air sensor
3)--(PA)----atmospheric sensor

Sorry I'm a little lost :(

I have an '89 CRX 1.5 w/ 196000 on it.

My question never got an answer.

My Crx has an idling problem. When I start my car(being a cold engine when started) the engine seems to run just fine, but once it is warmed up it revs up and down at a steady pace. Why is this?

I repaced the engine temp sensor, but it keeps happening, why!

Make sure your coolant doesn't have air in it. Bleed it good.
I had the same problem on my crx and I bled out the air and it fixed the problem
