My daughter replaced the battery in her Honda Civic. Now the lowbeam headlights do not work. The highbeam work fine on both sides. I have checked fuses and they seem fine. Any suggestions.

First thing is the battery. Is the battery the right one for the car for voltage/ampage. Get it tooken to Honda and have the battery checked with wiring(cheap to do). If the alternator light OR, DRL - day time running light comes comes on then your (DRL) unit is toast/ fried. By unplugging the unit your DRL light in the dashboard will go off (out).
Have Honda replace it and then the low beams should work.
