88 Honda Civic Exhaust

I just had my 1988 Honda Civic DX sedan inspected in NJ. I failed. The reason: Exhaust System Leak. Not to vague, eh? Question: Where do I begin to look for this? Front-Middle-Back? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Drive the car up on a ramp like you would to change the oil. With a partner, have one hold there hand or gloved hand over the exhaust tailpipe. This will cause back pressure and the other can crawl under the vehicle and it should be pretty easy to spot the leak or leaks.
