HI, I bought a Honda CIVIC SI 2003 last month. And now It seems like there is a problem with my alternator. Everytime, I start the engine, there is a "WIND" sound from alternator, and after that, I found that my gas is wasted alot than before.

Could anyone tell me what happen?

Can you explain the sound better and any other issues or tips on the change in fuel economy? It is possible that a bearing is going on the alternator and that can drag down the engine. Does it idle fine?
